Looking to make a nature corner in backyard, so i need a good filler maybe something tall and that rabbits or other critters can enjoy and provide cover. Grass and/or flower? Live in PA. and must withstand sun but get plenty of water. What types of plants should I use that will benefit wildlife?

I'm in Missouri so it will basically be about the same.
I always keep a large brush pile for wildlife cover and plant shrubs with berries for winter feeding with the seed. I leave a portion of the property unmowed for extra cover with wild flowers mixed in for butterfly's. I made a medium size (2000 gallons) garden pond for year round water supply and habitat. I have **14 PAIR of doves*** that use the tall grasses during the winter around the pond. Everyone laughs and says I fatten them up and wont let anyone eat them. Oh well!
Good Luck! What types of plants should I use that will benefit wildlife?

I could recommend some plants, but I am not familiar with what grows well in your area. Check out this link to find out what will best suit your needs.

If you have the room plant a couple viburnum they have nice flowers in spring and turn into nice seeds to feed the birds which i like to watch.
I think the Blue Muffin Viburnum is real nice and not too large.hope this helps
What part of PA? Milkweed is a plant that monarch butterflies lay eggs on. You could grow an apple tree, lots of things eat them. They sell a wildflower seed mix that grows about 2 feet tall and has lots of flowers, rabbits like that....
