What college do you have to go to if you want to become a wildlife photographer?

I want to become a Wildlife Photographer who travels the world and takes pics of all kinds of animals. What college should I go to?What college do you have to go to if you want to become a wildlife photographer?
The college of practice and experience.

You can go to college but you will prob spend a lot of time on stuff that doesn't interest you (portraiture, fashion, landscape etc) ...the best teacher will be learning through practice.

A safari park might be a good place to spend some time perfecting your shotsWhat college do you have to go to if you want to become a wildlife photographer?
you'll probably want to find a college with a good visual arts school. only real life experiences with wildlife can help you with the rest. i'd start with a camera in your backyard and work on a portfolio.
I would suggest a double major if you are thinking about being a wildlife photographer.

Today you need to learn all aspects of digital photography. This includes the camera, processing images on the computer, and definitely Photo Shop. This can be learned at a technical college or university.

In addition, you'll need to learn about composition, color harmony, lighting, these subjects may be part of your photography classes.

Animals or wildlife are a totally different subject. You might want to study zoology or nature. You may learn different characteristics of different animals that might help you later in locating specific animals you would like to photograph.

Whatever you do, give it your best and PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE.

Good Luck!
It really depends on how far you want to take it. You can take classes at a local community college for photography (digital or film). Note that a lot of pros still use film even if we are in the digital era. Most of the photographer that work for National Geographic have taken photography classes and thats it. Some have bachelors degree in fine arts or journalism. You can take as many or as little classes as you want, but what it all boils down to is your raw talent. Goodluck!
